What do I need to have to view my business or vacation home using a Remote Vision video camera?
To view live video over the internet requires a high speed Internet connection, such as Cable or DSL and a network camera located onsite.

How long does it take to install?
Installation will vary depending on your configuration. A typical indoor camera can be installed in about an hour. A wireless Pan/Zoom/Tilt camera installed outdoors can take between three and four hours to install.

Do I have to be on my property when the system is installed?
Yes, access to your business or home is required to connect to the Internet. We also require that you be present to discuss camera placement prior to installation.

Is the Web site secure? How can I be certain that no one else is viewing my business or property?
Our cameras are programmed to only accept visits from our secure Web sites of www.thebizwatcher.com or www.thedockwatcher.com. Our Web sites require membership login and passwords to allow viewing. If someone attempts to view the cameras without a proper membership login or password, access will be denied and a message will appear: “Forbidden access.”.

How do I control the Pan/Zoom/Tilt functions of my cameras?
If your cameras are a Pan/Zoom/Tilt (PZT) models, the Web page will contain extra functionality that allows you to move the cameras to view a full 360 degrees, as well as zoom up to 18 times.

What is 'Secure Private Access" you reference on your web site?
Secure Private Access means that your camera is programmed to only display the live image when accessed from our corporate servers. This blocks viewing by unwanted internet surfers. You the customer can create logins and passwords for family members and friends. You can also 'disable' your cameras blocking access to everyone through the camera administration page located on our website.

Can the cameras stand up to extreme heat or cold? What about rain or snow?
Outdoor cameras are enclosed in a housing that prevents rain or snow from entering. The housing is rated to -10 degrees Fahrenheit and +120 degrees Fahrenheit. The housings have built-in heaters for cold weather and blowers for summer weather.

Can I really turn on devices from 500 miles away? How does that work?
Yes. Our cameras can be programmed to turn devices on/off remotely. If you require these features, our service technicians can install the necessary functionality.

What happens if it breaks?
There are no moving parts on most cameras except for Pan/Zoom/Tilt (PZT) and night vision cameras. These cameras can be repaired or replaced if needed.

What is the guarantee/warranty on the product and installation?
All cameras have a one-year warranty. There is a 90 day warranty on labor.

How does the camera work? How do I see my property online?
All cameras are programmed to work with our secure Web site: www.thebizwatcher.com or www.thedockwatcher.com. Once your cameras are installed, you will be given a membership login and password. The Web site also allows you to grant access to family members and friends if you desire. To login, click the Sign In button on the Web site and enter your login and password. You will be directed to your owned cameras for viewing. You will also have access to public cameras. Public cameras are cameras that members allow other members to see.

What will it do for me?
www.thebizwatcher.com or www.thedockwatcher.com will give you online access to your property for viewing, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be able to view your boat, dock, and home from anywhere in the world, as long as you have Internet access. No longer will you need to call your neighbor or hire a caretaker to inspect your property when you are not there – you will have complete access anytime, from anywhere.

Will I talk to a person if I need help?
Yes. We have a toll free number that will connect you with our support personnel. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., CST. Calls received outside of normal business hours will go directly to our voicemail system which is checked periodically for emergencies.

Can the cameras be moved after they are installed?
Yes. If the cameras remain on the same network that they were installed, you can move them as often as you like. They will automatically configure themselves after reconnected to your network.
